Shon Richards is a name I have been using for the past decade or so. I have been writing erotica for most my life and when this lovely thing called the Internet came along, I started posting my stuff online. I've posted to Usenet, websites, yahoo groups and more recently blogging, so LiveJournal was just inevitable. I'm not sure what I will do with this account as the main reason I got was to participate in fellow local BDSMer's journals. I might cross post my fiction here but it all depends on how easy/hard this format turns out to be.
Why Erotiterrorist?- It comes from a story I wrote for a politcal sex story contest. I imagined a world where Janet Jackson's SuperBowl fun sparked a very Patriot Act /Gitmo response from a sex-obsessed government. I wrote about a group of terrorists who created erotica as a form of social protest. I sent the story off and got second place losing to a John Edwards sex story. But something lurked in the back of my mind about how erotica does change people. It crawls inside your mind, changing the way you perceive things until you can't look at nurse or a librarian without snickering. I had been writing as Shon Richards for years but for the first time I saw myself as havig a slightly higher calling than getting people really horny.
