Facebook is getting kind of ugh.
School is still occupying most of my temporal and mental landscape.
I hardly ever have the magical confluence of time and energy to see my friends in person anymore.
I've been enjoying Facebook for a while because it allows me to at least watch the people I care about from the sidelines and get a rough overview of what they've done lately. But I'm starting to find Facebook itself somewhat stifling.
So this may start up again. We'll see. I'll admit, when I shelled out for a permanent account years ago, I wasn't sure that LJ would continue to honour it as the years went by. So I keep feeling like this is a wasted resource lying unused. We'll see what happens. Stay tuned...or not?
The problem with LJ is that was always a slim slice of friends both here and on the internet, and it isn't like people from FB are going to bother to read this. But I need an outlet of some kind.
