For some reason, I decided I wanted to write a drabble of 150 words or less for every fandom I write (have written). Don't ask me why. It's not like I don't have enough to do.
Enjoy!

"Lee." The name slips from her lips by accident. She never means to call him that because she knows it makes him someone else, someone who is not her knight in shining armor. When he stops in his tracks and turns back to look at her, a silent question in his eyes, she tries to smile reassuringly. He seems to understand and returns the gesture with a softness that overcomes his entire posture. When he walks away, she regrets making him look back. She needs him to be strong, like she always needs him to be strong, but this time it is about more than his fingers and her sighs of appreciation.

Jamie understands his character's devotion to President Roslin. He knows why a young solider would blindly follow the orders of the only remaining member of government. What surprises Jamie is his commitment to Mary. Like him, she is only an actor playing a role, yet he is drawn to her for many of the same reasons Lee is drawn to Laura. He admits it could be because the two women are essentially the same and his mind is just confusing the character with the person. But when they are alone, hidden in the shadows of fake aircraft and rigged machinery, he wonders if his infatuation has less to do with who they play and more to do with the way Mary's skin feels against his own.
Charlie's Angels -
Sabrina knows Kelly is more than a pretty face. They went through training together, and Sabrina has seen Kelly defend herself against men bigger than the two of them put together. But when Kelly is in danger, Sabrina feels duty-bound to rescue her. The trouble is, with Kelly, most of the time, she cannot be saved with bullets and karate kicks. Kelly's demons are hidden inside of her, constantly struggling to be free, and Sabrina knows she cannot battle them for Kelly. She also knows she would not be strong enough to win. Kelly's past forces her to protect herself, and Sabrina is barely able to defy that personal hell while still maintaining an angel’s grace, which is why Sabrina never pushes Kelly for more than what they have. She does not want Kelly to believe she is the one who actually needs rescued.

When Kate kisses Jaclyn, she tries to remember she is not Sabrina kissing Kelly. She reminds herself she knew Jaclyn before Charlie's Angels, so they were always destined to be more than just actresses on a television show. They were meant to join, if not their lives, at least their bodies. It's an odd belief but one Kate holds onto almost as tightly as she holds onto the woman in her arms. It often occurs to Kate how ridiculous their history is because their entire relationship has been built around characters created to fit their personalities. Just as Kelly would have been submissive to Sabrina, Jaclyn gives in to Kate with little resistance. It's not that either Jaclyn or Kelly is weak, but Kate is strong enough for the illicitness of their affair, an act Jaclyn would rather pretend is a role instead of reality. Jaclyn, like Kelly, remains an angel.

They are as different as night and day, an old cliché used to describe people who are too complicated to be described otherwise. They should clash, both are too stubborn and too intelligent to be as dependent on each other as they are, but circumstances have brought them together. They rely on each other too much now, and MJ worries they've given up other obsessions for this one: they must be together. It's something MJ forgets when Helen, tall and lanky, looms over her in a way that makes the shorter woman shiver in anticipation. It is then that MJ slips into bed just as easily as dawn greets the world, slow and steady and always.

Sara knows the exact moment she fell in love with Catherine. She was not supposed to. They were only having some fun, a way to ward off the tension of their jobs and the tension between them. It happened by accident - when an argument took place in a locked room instead of an open hallway. Their first encounter had been rough and quick but satisfying. Then, they began spending more and more time together, most of it against walls or on couches - almost every encounter a replica of their first. Sara could handle that, could allow herself to believe they were nothing more than they had always been, until Catherine smiled at her and pushed a strand of hair from her eyes. It was a tender moment, one shared between lovers, and Sara melted into the caress, a different type of tension settling into her heart.

Tracey likes the way Kelly smells of baby powder after a long day in court. She couldn't explain it if she tried because it is such a foolish reaction to something that can be explained away with Kelly's lotion. Yet, it gives Kelly an air of innocence even when Kelly is taking Tracey to task for something. It makes Tracey want to slowly undress Kelly, to trace the lines of Kelly's body with her tongue, in order to drink in more of the soft scent. It reminds Tracey, at times, how much older she is than Kelly, but more often than not, it only tells Tracey to be gentle because she is holding something tender in her hands.

They were not meant to be lovers. The producers were chagrined when their characters suddenly became gay lawyers in the middle of a New York courtroom, giving nothing away with dark suits and six-syllable words but hiding little with lingering glances and soft smiles. It was not a performance Amy or Bebe could prevent. They gravitated to each other and flirted even when they knew they should not. Tracey was powerful and strong, but Kelly could hold her own. So, as the actresses were falling in love off screen, the characters were falling in love on screen. It was a public love affair even though no one knew Amy went home with Bebe most nights or that Bebe fit easily under Amy's chin as they slept. So, although Kelly and Tracey were not meant to be lovers, Amy liked to tease Bebe that she and Bebe were.

Idina knew the moment she was in love with Kristin. She was listening to the other woman sing, floating around the set after a rehearsal, and Kristin turned to her and smiled, and Idina knew. They had never kissed or had sex or even touched each other inappropriately. But none of that mattered because they had been intimate in other ways: Soft caresses and tight hugs, long conversations and emotional songs, intense performances from real people hidden behind characters. Idina understood, unconsciously, that a relationship beyond the one they had would ruin them and the show. So, as Idina sat, listening to Kristin sing and watching Kristin smile, she contented herself with the knowledge that she could have Kristin in ways other people could not. In that moment, she could love Kristin, but she didn't know then she would love Kristin for the rest of her life.
