Criminal Minds drabble
Despite my best efforts, I have been pulled against my will into yet another fandom: J.J./Emily from Criminal Minds. I spent all day yesterday watching episodes but still did not, or so I've been told, see the best this pairing has to offer. However, it seems what I did see was enough to inspire.
So, a J.J./Emily drabble:
Emily nuzzled at J.J.'s cheek, sensing without seeing J.J.'s smile. In the dim beams of the moon shining through the windows, J.J. was a ghost, her pale features blending into the light, a stark contrast to the navy sheets and Emily's own blanket of brown-black hair. The dichotomy caused Emily to sigh, a reminder of the good and evil of the world. "Can I ask you a question?" she whispered, her fear forging an uncommon and uncertain bravery. "Hmm," J.J. answered sleepily, closer to slumber than wakefulness. Her voice low, soft, Emily said, "Will you marry me?"
