A WTF moment from yesterday

Nov 19, 2007 13:43

We finally bought the DBSK concert tickets, but we bought the RM283 ones instead of RM423 -__-;; The 423 tickets are waayyy too much for us T__T I wonder how many will be attending the concert, since the tickets are hella expensive and the fans here are mostly teenagers, unlike Japan where their fans also consists of older women [yes, middle-aged women] and they definitely can afford the tickets more. And don't forget the SPM exam :x

Both me and my sis went to Midvalley yesterday to buy the tickets from Rock Corner, but they had problems printing the tickets so we had to go to Ticket Axcess counter in KLCC *___* The commuter to KL Central was packed as Hell >__>

Oh, I had never encounter such a rude salesguy before..

On our way to the Midvalley commuter station, we was approached by a lady from a group of people who was promoting Suria Card [next to the escalator at the end of the bridge linking the station and the mall]. We refused at first since we're in a hurry, but she convinced us that it'll only take 3 minutes so I said OK. My sis was giving me >__> look, I think *cough* So we sat at one of the table and this Malay guy came to us, explaining about this Suria card, which enable us to get our money back from our purchases, just as long we keep the receipt; thing like that, and he said that it also help us students to pay for our student loan if something happened to us [like accident] and we weren't be able to pay it back [insurance?]. He later show a newspaper article on a girl who was bedridden after an accident and had to stop her studies. But her family still had to pay for the RM50,00 student loan, so her mother made a plea for people to help them since they're quite poor [I only remember those parts ^^;; I think we've been listening for more than 3 minutes >__>].

All we have to do is to pay RM30 in advance [it's RM150 overall]and we'll get the card. I refused again, saying that we're in a hurry. Then he asked how much did I spend for top-up every month, and I replied RM30. He said if we can pay RM360 a year for top-up, why not RM150 for the card? Then he goes on and on and I refused again.

He later rose from his seat, looking pissed and guess what he said?

'Ah takpelah. Takpe. Inilah orang Melayu. Nanti ada apa-apa problem semua nak mintak tolong kat orang, keluar suratkhabar lah, inilah. Baca suratkhabar tak hari ni? Bacalah, Fasha Sanda pun mintak tolong jugak' [Alright then. This is what Malay people are like. When they're in trouble [he meant financially] they'll only ask for other people's help; appearing in newspaper and such. Have you read today's newspaper [I replied no, which is a lie, of course. I just wanna get out from there]? Read it. Even Fasha Sanda [a local actress] asked for help.]

[I think he said more, but I only remember that part. But of course, he meant that Malay people can't help themselves and only depends on other people]

WHAT. THE. FUCK.

I can't believe he said that. Of all things. Is that his first job? First day of his first job? That's not how you treat a customer you bastard! I was nice enough to listen to all your explanation and I even refused NICELY, not just simply walked away. Heck, I was nice [or stupid. Most likely stupid] enough to say 'thank you' before we left! I've encountered a lot of people like them and this is the first time somebody ever said something rude like that. It was really unnecessary. You can't force people to buy it you dumbfuck! So, you think that if I met with a accident then the very next day I'll be on newspaper asking for money? Just because I don't have the card? You every Malays are like poor and helpless? FUCK. YOU.

I've never been so angry at someone so much until I met him. Seriously, hearing him said that is like being stabbed with knifes; you really have no idea how much it offended me. Looking back, there are 101 things that I wish I could have.. wait, I SHOULD HAVE said after hearing that. Maybe because we're students he think he just can bully us like that? God forbid if he speak in the same manner to my parents, who knows what will happen.

I don't know if they're still there or only during last weekend, but if anyone see them, look out for a skinny Malay guy with army hairstyle, that's the bastard.
