happy birthday, joe!
One of my closest mates turned 21 last week, and over the weekend we trekked the 4 hours up to his hometown in Albury, NSW for his birthday bash. The weather was amazing all weekend, and Mez & I had a blast at his party. Joe's family is the sweetest family ever, and just meeting them made me feel happy to be a part of the night. Anyways, throughout the night we posed as batman, played some poker machines in the sports club [and lost our money], ate tasty birthday cake, and even met Miss Australia [who is Joe's cousin]!
Made it to Albury at the Vic/NSW state line.

4 hours from home!
I'm so glad I made the effort to go, the drive was fun & the company was great.
My final, final exams start tomorrow, fun.
EDIT: I just remembered that tickets for The Shins concert (Jan 07, 2006) went on sale at midday today - well, thanks to a friend of my brother for reminding me! Anywho, I just bought myself a ticket. I finally get to see them, so excited!! /EDIT
