Ok, so I'm lame...
Still not motivated to do the last Canada posting...I'm sooo lame! ;P
I'm running like a mad woman getting ready for La's baby shower on Saurday. I have all but one thing in that I've ordered, and I'm hoping it'll be in tomorrow. Though I have to go make a couple copies of two of the games...we're ending up with more people than we anticipated. Including Drama-Gaby...that was a real shocker! She's actually comming...we all were speechless when we got the email ;)
One of the people that is supposed to be helping with the shower is a total lame-o...you know, just voulinteer to help with clean up and/or decorating, or something like that if you had NO INTENTION on actually helping financially, or with any of the real shit...totally pisses me off. So where Sara and I thought we'd have a 3-way fall for things for the shower, we just have to split. Fukkin makes me mad. Don't make commitments your hippy-ass knows damn well you won't live up to. *growl*
Though one of John's now-former employees sent him a sweet thank you gift for all the things John has done for him over the last couple years. It really was sweet...even if it does STINK to HIGH HEAVEN!!! *gag* It's a feng shui candle set of fire, water, earth, wood and wind...totally stinks, but it's pretty...and did I mention sweet? So it has now become a shower prize ;) Someone has to love the stink of sandalwood....*double gag*...right?
The really funny part about the gift was the bag it came in....aparently Target.com's idea of 'gift wrap' is a big bag that looks like a pillowcase with ribbons to close the top of it. Now, that would be ok...if the bad didn't look like the kind of bag we saw as kids in Disney movies that the kittens were thrown into the lake in, or Cruella's henchmen used to nab the puppies...one of THOSE bags!! It was totally creepy! And I'm totally going to use it again for _something_ later on ;) Figure it'll be good for a joke later on *lol*
At this point I just have a couple minor things to get for the shower, but still have to go and get an actual _gift_...
Tomorrow I'm gonna go meet my sister and help her pick out a gift for La. I haven't decided what exactly I'm gonna get her....either or , both of which are the best things EVER. And both were things my sister couldn't have done without...
But I'll make my decision tomorrow.
Then sissy and I will prolly have lunch somewhere. Then we part ways and I come home and then go to my Dr's appt.
Anyhow, I still feel like crap, but I'm actually hungry, and that's a good thing. So I think I'm gonna go make some dinner :)
