so my sister calls me, talking about nothing in particular. Chris is supposed to be comming over to the house, and then us having dinner with John.
Well, this changed things!
Apparently the door locked behind her when she went outside for a smoke.
Boogie was in his high chair, so perfectly safe, but still!
So Chris had to go straight home. thankfully she actually had her cell phone with her when she went out to smoke, as she called the roadside assistance number to get into her truck, where for whatever reason she had a spare key in there.
While waiting for the locksmith guy, she called my mom. Come to find out, when I was a baby, my mom had locked me in the car for about 30 minutes. ;) The things you learn about your childhood as an adult! *lol*
Mom agreed it was good he was in a safe place, and not running around. However, if he were running around, she'd probably have been talking to him through the door, "turn the little knob baby, help let mommy back inside!" *lol*
On the up side of the whole thing, because he left early, Chris wasn't caught in the nasty weather coming through. He made it home on his motorcycle all dry. :)
I made myself a nice dinner, John is working late. Night before a code-freeze and drop. You IT geeks know what I'm talking about! craziness!!!!
My nephew is fine, btw, Reana got in the house, all is fine :)
