what a great day (sarcasm at its finest)
Lost an hour of sleep due to daylight savings. Had to be at work 2 hours earlier than normal, so technically 3 hours earlier. Worked til 5pm, came home and by 6:30 a tornado had ripped through my town. I was in my hallway for almost half an hour. The whole southeast end of town is demolished and all over this side trees are down and debris is everywhere. The tornado was about 1/2 a mile wide and very dangerous. As far as i know there are no fatalities and Ive been without power for 7 hours now. They say it will be days before its back on because power lines are down everywhere...and I went to pee not too long ago and now i have no water either. wtf. They turned water off all throughout town... WHY!?!?!?! All I know is, I have a baby and a toddler to feed i dont know wtf im going to do. I'm almost out of milk and i cant even go buy any! and if I could it would ruin b/c there's NO POWER! I loaded up the kids earlier to go get a look-see while it was still light out but no such luck. That whole half of town was completely closed off. They've called in the national guard and all kinds of rescue people. I think the whole town was walking around too, to get a look at the damage. it was like total chaos! Ok well its 1:10am and I'm tired. I hope i can sleep with my house as quiet as it is. Ciao!
