What an amazing weekend I had! Siouxsie had finally strode into town and performed in the bohemian part of Atlanta, and what a fantastic show it was. Words cannot express in how awesome this performance was. She is still in top notch and can hit those notes after 20 years. She reminded me of David Bowie when he performed here back in May when he closed with "Ziggy Stardust" and pulled it off like a proud knight.
She closed the show with "Arabian Nights" in which everyone, including me, almost lost it. I was almost in tears as they played note for note, and her voice carried it out in perfect tune.
The highlights: Dear Prudence, Miss the Girl, Christine, Kiss Them For Me, Face to Face, and Arabian Nights.
She was even nice enough to grace us with three encores. For that, I have become a permanent fan-- not that I wasn't already in the first place.
Anyway, hotlinking a
picture of the show provided by a fan on her website, so hopefully it will stay up for some time. If not, I saved the pic to upload later.

From the show, I brought home a T-shirt and poster to frame.
Did I also mention it was a zillion-gagillion degrees in there? I thought I would melt.
And did I also mention that I missed Franz Ferdinand last night because I thought the show was next Sunday, instead of yesterday...
