Just wanted to say...
I'm now on a two week vacation from work and I am pretty estatic about it. I know it has been a while since I visited this place, but I was insanely busy at work trying to wrap up every project that needed to be completed by the end of the year, and since I was leaving early for vacation, I had to get on the ball.
Now that is over with, and I can look forward to spending some time on doing some serious catching up with the house, reading, and some writing. As well, the family thing to do with the coming of the holiday.
To start it off on Friday, I slept late, wrote bills in the afternoon to be shipped off when payday comes, then Tacita's friends invited us to their place for a small get-together with friends and spent some time. I got a copy of the new U2 album and enjoyed a few drinks with one of her friend's husbands, who is now becoming one of my personal friends. Good times.
Saturday, I spent a little time shopping for Xmas and got a book for said friend in which I think he will enjoy. I then spent the rest of the night curled up on the couch with tons of reading material. I finished up the comic books sitting on my coffee table, read the city's weekly guide, and the new Star Wars Insider.
And today, I took care of the yard in the morning, so I could plan to surf the rest of the day and chat on AIM. I hope I don't need to get out again today, because it is freezing! I think I froze my ears off when I stepped out into the cold. They said it may snow tonight. I think it will. I just hope I don't get the flu from being in that cold air. Brrr!
The rest of the week, I plan to do some "honey-do"'s to the house and some cleaning, along with relaxing, reading and writing. I'll update on the week if I have nothing else to do.
