A local angler, fishing in the Ohio, caught an 18-inch red-bellied piranha. You read that right. A piranha! Those amazonian lovelies that can skeletonize a cow in 2.3 seconds. Yeah, the weather has been a bit bizarre this week, huh? The wind has just started blowing something fierce here -- apparently the wife of one of my co-workers just called to say she watched a tree squash an SUV in their parking lot... I am *not* looking forward to the drive home...

JEEZ!! It's dropped about 20 degrees since I got up this morning. And we went to Wal-Mart (to get ready in case there's a blizzard) and on the way home...there was a tree blown down just past Reno!! I'm going to start looking for farmhouses if this keeps up!
Be careful going home/I hope the drive home was uneventful (depending on when you read this).

It is ridiculously cold out now... I'm interested in seeing if our decorations are still attached tomorrow... Did your power go out? Our lights kept flickering at the end of work...
The drive home was surprisingly uneventful, thank you! The wind was only really bad when I got out towards the farms -- all those big open spots without anything to stop it... But I'm here, safe and sound.

We saw a lot of decorations down when we went to the store. I hope yours are OK.
