THIS IS THE CUTEST THING EVER. I love Corrine, and how fleshed out she is even in this short piece, and I loved her reaction to Neal, being kind and gentle with him ♥ Her POV on what Peter & Neal's relationship looked like to her from the outside was wonderful. Oh, THEM. And Elizabeth too! :D

The conflicting notes in Peter's file were an especial delight, heeee! And I always ADORE hurt and out-of-it Neal. This fic is just THE CUTEST, I will restate.

Thank you so much for filling my prompt! :D

♥ ♥ ♥ It was a lovely prompt; thank YOU for leaving it. (I have a perhaps slightly unrealistic idea of trying to answer a prompt for everyone who is leaving them in this round of CollarCorner -- not EVERY PROMPT, but at least one per person! This plan may not survive first contact with the enemy ...)

But anyway, it was a lovely prompt that jumped and said "WRITE ME!", and I really had a lot of fun writing Corinne's take on Neal and his friends. (They must seem so weird to everyone around them, especially straight-laced FBI people ...)

I love how in the middle of heartbreaking angsty hurt comfort, you have the hilarious bit of Neal lifting everything off the FBI lady that he can reach and absent-mindedly giving it back.

This is terrific! The continued wait for news clarifying White Collar's currently uncertain future is frustrating and worrisome, and this lovely post-finale fic was just what I needed. I love poor Neal's confusion when Peter isn't in DC (and of course that's where he'd go). Peter's reactions to the phone call felt just right. Your OC was great and really well-realized. And Hughes' take on Kramer...hee hee. So glad this prompt spoke to you.

Thank you so much! :) (And even though it's taken me almost 2 weeks to reply to comments, we're still waiting! Bleh.) I'm really glad you enjoyed this.

You scratched an itch I didn't know I had any more! I loved this!

It's great to see everyone working together, even if Neal is hurt. Of course he doesn't know where Peter is! I hadn't even thought of that. Of course he'd be looking for Peter, and we've seen him hurt and out of it, and he's just as you've depicted here. I'm glad to see Peter and Elizabeth as a united front, and a Peter who knew Neal didn't run. And the notes from Hughes and Kramer, who are each at least partly right.
Will probably end up in prison. May take the entire department with him at the rate things are going.

I really like Corinne, too. She'll have to see them again. I'm sure Neal has something to return.

Thank you! :D Yeah, I hadn't really thought about it 'til seeing the prompt, but Neal is going to have all kinds of confusion about what went on with Peter after he disappeared. And I really enjoyed writing Corinne. I definitely think they'll see her again. :)
