Well, you totally made Barry a player in this story (though most of the things were because of sex pollen, the beginning parts sure weren't). Very interesting. I have never thought of him in that regard, but now I kind of like it XD There are so many pairings in this that I've never even thought about. Sure, Batman/Barry and Hal/Barry are obvious, but I never would've thought of Piper/Barry and Ivy/Barry. lol Batman, trying to keep the whole thing on the downlow. Wonder who was on top...
Huh, I kind of thought that Iris was dead at the beginning, to be honest. But, when you added the stuff about his mother's death and how he and Iris were once upon a time, I figured out that it was based on the DCnU. Stupid Zoom, killing Barry's mom and making his dad take the blame for it. That dude is insane, I swear. Hard to believe they're all related.
But, anyway, I'm getting off topic here (which I tend to do). So glad you managed to add in Barry/Wally before the next part. You're such a tease, though XD Wow, you gotta love speedster recovery times (unless, it was talking about the kiss). And, aww, Wally's so adorable; seeing him so nervous while doing that was so cute. Hmm, is Wally still Barry's nephew even though Barry's no longer married to Iris (or never was, because of DCnU logic)? I mean, it seems Barry remembers the original timeline in this story, so that's why he still refers to Wally as his nephew.
I already know who sent the chocolates. So adorable. Aww, Wally, he's so romantic (even if they were spiked with a lust potion, he still gets points for presentation). I wonder how he'll react when he hears that Barry thought it was Iris who sent them. He'll probably be self conscious and shy and hesitant to admit the truth (which'll probably make me want to give him a big old hug and tell him everything's going to be alright).
Can't wait for more :D

Some important details you should know is that:
Barry is still married to Iris, but his parents are dead. He's still upset about that (because he doesn't know that it was really Professor Zoom's fault, that and they might have not met yet at this point). He also has a lot of experience with sex pollen and is not proud of it (which is one of the many factors why it seems like there is distance between Barry and Iris). He still feels guilty about that time with Hartley (I don't know if I should spoil it or not, but there is a reason).
My interpretation and intention was something like this:
In the beginning, I guess he appears as a player, but in my opinion he isn't. It's more like, how do you explain it? Kind of go with the flow with things (like when Kristen wipe his mouth). I think of Barry as a pretty ordinary guy, who can appreciate another's appearance (which is what I did with Patty). There were several pairings going on, but they were more or less a fling (that he didn't mean to partake). Just that with his super speed, it sort of increased his sex drive. It also doesn't help that he has a lot of stamina too. Or shorter refractory periods than most.
Oh, I guess it wasn't obvious earlier, but I actually wrote this for Valentine's Day. The first draft was finished before it, but my sister only got to me like after V-Day. And told me to rewrite it because she thought I could do better. And it took a bit longer since I was avoiding this fanfic for awhile. In the story, the day is actually Valentine's Day, which is why Barry was sort of keen on having Iris on board with the whole date thing. Same with the chocolates that Barry received from his secret admirer.
While writing some of the flashbacks, I ended up daydreaming about them. Especially between Barry and Pamela (Poison Ivy). Had an entire story idea planned out in my head, and why they work. Before I also liked Wally and Pamela as a pairing (because I imagine her kidnapping Kid Flash or is holding him hostage. He ends up trying to flirt with her, but when she doesn't take that kind of shit and attempts to kill him, when he starts talking science-y to her. This results an geeky kink for Poison Ivy who starts to release pheromones/sex pollen and they have sex.) If you're curious, I'll even tell you my idea of how Barry and Pamela work. That, and I ended up expanding this fanfic further because ideas and daydreams keep distracting me from actually finishing the story too.
Um yeah, I probably said too much at this point. I hope this explains some of what I was trying to explain.

The Kristen scene kind of reminds me of that one page in the Barry/Wally comic you showed me. I honestly don't know much about any of the Flashes except for Wally, so I don't really know his personality type (except that he's very protective). I associate Barry as the saint of the Justice League who saved the multiverse from being destroyed by the Anti Monitor. It was very honorable of him and it was such a wonderful way to die; it was a heroic death, what most heroes strive for. But, yeah, seeing this new part of him was interesting. His speed can be both beneficial and problematic. If only he had the Hyper metabolism that allows Wally to get rid of foreign substances quickly (like alcohol, which is why Wally can't get drunk).
Oh, so that's why it's called Cupid's Bonbons. I was actually picturing Klarion as the cupid because he's the one who gave Wally the potion (based off the prompt). And, Barry, how romantic of you. But, like Lois, Iris is very dedicated to her job.
I daydreamed a bit while reading the flashbacks (though it was kind of tough since I can usually only picture Barry with Iris or Wally). And, the only reason I can't see Ivy with Wally is because I have it stuck in my head that she is related to Iris and is Wally's aunt as a result (I blame that one story where Wally and Barry were fighting Ivy and then Ivy started asking Wally how school was going and if he wanted to be her protoge for the summer and Barry got all jealous and was like "he's mine!" and she was all "he was mine first"...wait, that doesn't sound right...).
ANYway, yes, this does explain things a lot more. Thank you for that :)

I'm not sure if Hartley is the exact age, but he is around Wally's age group. I just figured I would throw him in there, it's not like villains have a minimum age to become one.
Barry is pretty easygoing, easy to get along with, thinks before he acts (usually), is a likeable guy in general (but I don't think he has a lot of close friends, mostly friends and acquaintances). I guess that depends. In the Justice League he's pretty respected and friendly, so it makes him likable. I think at his workplace, people like him, but don't know him very well. He can also be a workaholic at times (if it's a personal matter, like with his parents' cold case), which makes him distant. Before he was the Flash, I think he was very focused on trying to figure out his parents' cold case, because they were the two most important people in his life. Didn't really bother with dating (didn't interest him). Which is why Patty gave him space and didn't go after him right away (she was waiting for him to get over his parents' death and open up a little, since he was a pretty private guy). But then he met Iris (who apparently had a lot of bad dates in the past), enjoyed her company, and gave him a sense of stability I think. She's also the reason why he wears bowties instead of ties back then.
He was bullied when he was younger I remembered (and his mom would cheer him up by taking him to the comic store and buy Flash comics). I don't know too much of his relationship with his dad, but I think it became strained after the incident. Barry became maybe an orphan and went into foster care (since mother died, father is in jail, has no known relatives at the time), and shaped him into this guy who later went into law enforcement field.
Does that give you a better picture? I read a few Flash issues (the more recent arcs, rather than the Silver Age stuff), but that's how I interpreted it. As well as referring to wikia and wiki pages too.
Although, I am downloading Silver Age stuff to read, after that one prompt you've posted on yj_anon_meme (Prompt Post #10) with that one image where Barry has to carry Wally to places so he could regain his memory again. I'm curious of their dynamics back then, since they don't seem to write dynamic duos anymore. Only really with Batman and Robin franchise (and Batgirl sometimes).
Back in the day comics are hard to get into for me, since they're not as artsy as today's standards. That and the language back then was kind of silly. Some of the events and ideas were silly too. But I'll try! I'm trying to catch up on the Question comics, since I'm sort of planning to write a fanfic between the Question and (not so) Kid Flash.

lol I still can't believe that was said. Sure, it wouldn't be taken in that regard (as much) if we had read the comics itself. But, seriously, Barry's holding Wally bridal style while thinking about taking Wally to the places where they "experienced exciting times together" and that it will "arouse him". Barry and Wally had great dynamics back then. They were on par with the Dynamic Duo themselves. Heck, perhaps even better. Well, at least relationship wise since Bruce and Dick had a lot of differences when Dick grew older.
I know, the art feels all washed out and boring compared to today's standard. That, and the stories seem to be going so fast. I believe that they did that because they had to get a whole story done in one issue; they really didn't create story arcs until the Modern Age came around. And, lol, their whole linguistics are so hilarous. I mean, they were great during tha time period, but saying things like "Cool Cats" and the like is just so silly nowadays. And, ooh, that sounds interesting. VIc/Wally stories are very interesting to read.
