Hey guys, doing a questionnare of sorts for my design class project. Im researching on the kitchen habits of art students (if u graduated, try answering as if you were during your student times XD), so i was wondering if you guys could take a few minutes of your time and answer these questions? XD

Eating Habits

How often do you eat? Please state general time of day.
3-5 times; late morning (11am), 2pm, 5pm, 7pm and 10pm.

Do you eat out or at home more?
at home

What kind of food do you usually eat?
self-cooked, usually Chinese or Italian; once in a while Western.

Kitchen

How often do you use the kitchen at home?
almost always

What do you use your kitchen for? Please state any & all uses.
preparation: washing, cutting, marinating
cooking: baking, roasting, heating, stir-fry, grill

Food preparation

How do you regard the act of food preparation? This includes preparation of ingredients and cooking.
It has to be clean and as hygenic as possible.

Rate these aspects of cooking ingredients to you that seem important: (er, rate on?)

Quality - standard

Long lasting - very very essential

Price - important

Taste - very very important

Else (please state) - freshness of food must be well maintained!

Washing dishes

How often do you wash the dishes at home?
as soon as they're used, they're washed

How much dishes are there per washing?
!?? it varies... if i cooked a big meal that uses all my pots, pans and trays, a lot. if i cooked something simple or simply heated food, it would be as minimal as a spoon and a small plate.

Storage

How much space do you use in a fridge?
roughly half the entire fridge for my own food stock for 2 weeks.

What do you usually have in your fridge?
vege, meat, eggs, butter, ice-cream and cakes

How much space do you need for your utensils? This includes cooking & eating utensils.
a drawerful.

Do you store any other things in your kitchen?
kitchen towels, cloth, dishwasher, sponge, drying rack, cups, plates, bowls, root vegetables, rice, kettle and rice cooker.
