So I wrote an interesting little thing

So I wrote an interesting little thing about a man that lived with an ocean wave, believe it or not, I did not come up with the idea myself. That idea came from an e-mail a got from a friend in college about something she read for her creative writing class.
I thought the idea was cool so I wrote my own interpretation of it with a humorous twist,

Read below:

John Doe floated through the ocean for no apparent reason, carried by an ocean wave headed for unbeknownst places.
John starred up at the sun beating down on him and pondering why he was in this situation at all, finding no conclusion reason, he shut his eyes and allowed himself to pushed along by the wave.
“Hey, dude.”
“Huh?” mumbled John opening his eyes.
“Down here, dude, I’m the ocean wave that’s carrying you, I’m like, H²0.”
“Oh, hey, man, ‘sup? Can I call you “Two-O” for short?”
“Yeah, that’s fine, kind of sounds like a name for a Droid in “Star Wars”
“Dude, have you seen the trailer for the new “Star Wars” movie coming out this May?”
“Yeah, it looks pretty sweet, May is going to great month for Sci-Fi fans, we get the new “Star Wars” and the series final of “Star Trek: Enterprise.”
“I’m so mad UPN cancelled that show, it was the only thing worth watching on TV.”
“Yeah, its horrible for us nerds, “Lord of the Rings” is over, “The Matrix” is over, “Star Wars” is about to be over, and now there is probably not going to be new “Star Trek” material for some time now.
“Hey, Two-O, Your pretty cool for a ocean wave, my wife back home doesn’t understand me at all, she even through away my old comic books while cleaning out the attic.”
“I feel your pain, dude, I used to have wife that was just the same way, sadly though we are now separated.”
“Oh, really, man? What happened?”
Two-O didn’t reply right away, and then sighed.
“Well, you now, currents sometimes have to change,” he finally answered, and the lowering his voice to a whisper, he continued on, “Last I heard, she was somehow involved in that whole “tsunami” thing, but that’s just between you and me right?”
“Of course! Hey, do you think you could just keep carrying me around for a while, I don’t think I want to go home yet.”
“Sure thing.”
“I have a Nintendo DS with the new Metriod game in my pocket, maybe I’ll let you play.”
“Wow, thanks! You are a true friend!” replied Two-O sounding almost on the brink of tears.
“To friendship!”
“Yes, to friendship!”
With those words, John floated on into the sunset, never to seen by human eyes again.

It’s my day off today, so yay for me, since tomorrow marks my first week of working day shift, which a hate with a burning passion.

I need a new job.
