Now normally I don't do this, but this Joe Wilson/Valerie Plame shit has to stop.
First, I am not convinced that she sent him to smear Bush's war plans. He DID find evidence that Iraq tried (unsuccessfully) to buy uranium, though. It's in his report.
My point is this. Ol' Joe says that her "outing" put National Security at risk. Well, obviously he (AND most other Americans) do no understand the finer points of espionage. If an "undercover" spy goes into Langley EVERY DAY FOR THREE YEARS to work at a desk, I think it is safe to assume that her "cover" is pretty much nonexistent. How many undercover agents do you know that field a desk at CIA headquarters?
So, in other words, National Security was not compromised, and no law was broken. You can't have your cover blown if any random enemy spy in Virgina sees you go into CIA headquarters everyday.
