I had a busy day yesterday.
I checked out UW Tacoma, and I have enough credits to transfer there; the catch is that there are some pre-requisites that I don't have. Shit like accounting, and pre-calculus, and calculus. It basically boils down to about three quarters worth of work, either at UW or at a community college. So, I went and talked to OC, and there is nothing keeping me from enrolling there. The money that I owe them is no longer shown on my account. I thought that was odd, but I certainly won't complain about it. All I have to do is add them to my FAFSA. There is even supposed to be a bunch of open work study positions as well. The person I talked to said to go talk to the career services people about the library. The office was closed when I got there... closed early too. But I can always stop in again next week. I've got to get my syllabus for Stats, and for Econ...so the advisors can determine how to place the credits for those classes. It all feels a little on the heavy side at the moment, and is a little depressing. Though I know that changing schools and all that seems like the right thing to do, logically... it still brings me down a bit.

My supervisors understand, and they are supportive of whatever decision I make. This is a good thing to know. Even they said that if working at the library is the only thing that is really anchoring me to DeVry, then it shouldn't even be considered. We have a mutual respect for each other, and their opinions are that I should move on if a student job is the only thing keeping me there. Of ocurse, they did say that I have to come back and visit, which I am pretty sure I would do... as I like everyone at that place. Pity that money grubbing politics got in the way of the classroom end of my affairs. Well, that and the price tag.

So in short, I think I have my path laid out for me. I just have to take a few steps to start.

I have to replenish my Good to Go card. Then I think I am off to a couple second hand stores to find a large boiling vessel.
