Hello, Vatheon! This is the Doctor. I'd just like to take this fantastic opportunity to settle an old argument.
Here we go...
[camera shifts to the window, over the ledge a bit, capturing a small crowd of archaeopteryx flapping about the windowsills and the eaves of the first floor of the building.]
Ha ha! There you have it. Flapping flight. Minimal flight, but flight nonetheless. Now, I can't say with certainty whether it's a proper bird or a feathered lizard just from looking at it, especially from this distance. Honestly, it could go either way. I mean, on the one hand they're not all that different from vortisau--ack!
[rejoice, for you have been saved from what was shaping up to be interminable rambling by one of the creatures making a flapping leap for the window and colliding with the camera. The feed cuts out for several minutes, then comes back on. He looks a little irritated this time.]
...the main difference being that vortisaurs are easier to catch. A little fresh blood, a good scratch in the right place and they're tame as pussycats. These things... not so much.
