UN-FUCKING-BELIEVABLE !!!
Well, seems like running a day care is a very profitable business!
It works the following way -
You give them your child and a shit load of money, they take the money, keep the child well entertained for 8-9 hours a day, for a week or so.
Then, preferably over the weekend (so as to ruin all your plans entirely), you child gets miserably sick and spends the following week at home. Then the child gets better and goes back to the daycare where she gets acquainted with a whole new bacteria / virus / whatever it is they have there - and there goes another week for you.
So basically it means you are paying a shit load of money for 2 weeks out of 4 each month, plus you get the prestigious bonus of catching all types of germs from your precious little sneezing machine.
Surprisingly enough, the sick child has lots of energy. Less than usual, I'll give you that. But still, a lot. Enough to power a small village. So if you are so lucky to be sick as well (and I am, I am, so very very lucky indeed) you'd be lying there exhausted and abused (yes, abused!! after being climbed on, pulled by the hair, patted on head using lego pieces, and so on..) on the floor (because you are always on the floor.. playing with your child.. somehow all children activities happen on the floor), your sick and miserable child will take the opportunity to completely trash the house. Well, at least someone's happy....
