So this past weekend was great. Only now am I getting to telling about it because of work. Saturday night we drove to Kingston where we saw Ember and Lyndell (great show, one of the best I've seen) Driving home was a bit of a challenge because it was so late and Jenn was so tired. Swerved into the other lane, lots of poking and nonsense taking to stay awake. Anyways, we got home and to bed around 5am.
Monday night we went to Tegan and Sara. Erika and Christine weren't supposed to be going to the show with us, only out for a drink beforehand, but there were scalpers so we decided to check it out. How much to you think would be the most charged for a ticket for Tegan and Sara? Well this psycho was charging $60 A TICKET!! I couldn't believe it! I tried to explain to him who the band was, this show was the most we've ever paid for them, blah blah blah, he didn't care. Erika ended up "bargaining" with him and getting 2 tickets for $80 which, in my opinion is still too much to pay. It was a good time nonetheless. T&S need new haircuts, but other than that no complaints. After the show it was right to work from midnight to 8. Amazingly I didn't fall asleep, and all went well.
Got an interview for Indigo on Saturday - I hope I get the job so I can quit doing security. I can't handle it.
Hockey tomorrow!! First game!! I'm excited! Haven't played in a game since April..!
Kitty is getting big. Still a wee one though, just not as wee as he used to be.
Things are going great with Jenn - despite being on opposite schedules. We make it work, and work well.
