Last night's foray into HMV wasn't fruitless. Though I wasn't able to buy any DVDs or CDs (as it's way cheaper to order on Amazon), I didn't go home empty-handed. I got these to add to my shelf:
The Boy Who Kicked Pigs by Tom Baker, Blink by Malcolm Gladwell
Two books for HK$88. Not bad. :D
The next stop was Ikea.
The bandmate bought stuff for his flat while I drooled over the cabinets, beds, sheets, shelves, and practically almost everything else in the store. Dinner followed at
Watami, a "Japanese casual restaurant" (their own words), with a really nice ambience that I would peg as a notch above casual. The food was really good and the price range is reasonable. We had rice with beef in a stone bowl, crab and scallop croquette, gyouza in a hot pan, and assorted sushi. T'was absolute heaven! Would definitely dine there again next time I'm in HK.
Crap, now I'm all hungry.
