I've been pretty busy with work and social calls that I've neglected blogging, yet again. So below is a random summary of stuff that's been happening.

I don't know why I've held off buying an FM modulator for the longest time. My car stereo does not have an AUX input so I had to get a modulator to be able to play my iPod in the car. So I got a relatively cheap one a couple of weeks ago from CD-R King. And now I have thousands of songs to listen to on long drives! It's so cool! That's why I better plan a road trip soon.

Pictures are beginning to pile up in my digital camera (what's new?). There's the holy week getaway, Indian lunch, Ebe's wedding, and other random shots. Speaking of Ebe's wedding, I think it was the first wedding I've been to after _the_ breakup. Surprisingly, I didn't tear up in nostalgia and I wasn't that affected. Until it got to the part where they were exchanging rings. All of a sudden I couldn't breathe--the symptom of an anxiety attack. Then when they were exchanging vows, I told my
orgmate (Hello, Jom! Hello, Marion!) whom I sat next to, "sus, hindi totoo yan!" Haha. It wasn't bitter, don't worry. But, admittedly, it was a joke half meant. :P
The highlight of the wedding, aside from the couple's union of course, were the photo ops (I promise to upload pictures over the weekend!) and the post-wedding party at Big Sky Mind. Good friends, good times. What more can I ask for? :D

Work has been crazy the past couple of weeks. But the good thing is that I got my work groove back. We've a new company scheme and looks like it's working pretty well. I have to cut down on gimiks though as I have a rather long list of work backlog. The month of May will be quieter on the gimik front and I plan to do stuff by my lonesome like watch a movie, go on a roadtrip, watch a gig (I know I've already mentioned these before).

Plurk and
JamLegend are the ultimate timesuck side-by-side with Restaurant City, which I'm not even going to try anymore. God knows I already have more distractions than I can handle. Work being the biggest of them all. Haha. And because I'm a good friend who wants to sabotage your work productivity, I've provided links to
Plurk and
JamLegend so you can try it out. Hey, I believe in free will.
Sadly, because of these time blackholes, I wasn't able to keep my promise of doing music-related stuff every week. I failed last week and I'm sure to fail this week as well. But does JamLegend count? It helps me keep time, at the least.
On the brighter side, I have been reading more than usual and I'm almost halfway through Iain M. Banks'
The Player of Games (on loan from
the bandmate. oh, and I'd like to take this opportunity to thank you for lending me your guitar amp as well! Ibebenta ko na lahat ng music gear mo na nasa akin *evil laugh*). I had planned to read
The Algebraist first but it's rather advanced reading to be an appropriate introduction to Iain M. Banks.

Oh, the gig with Zach was fun! :D Kahit may mga sabit, masaya pa rin. Especially when I didn't get lost in one of the tricky bagsakans! :D I missed (and still miss) playing!!!
Eggy, banda na tayo nila
Luna!

Been experiencing some lows lately. Aftershocks, crying spells, and anxiety attacks. But all is well. I think I've got a better grip on things. Special thanks to my friends who never tire of giving and showing their support. :)

Got to try mochi balls and yummy spicy bacon and tomato cream pasta at Dezato with
Earnest,
Kris,
Cynthia,
Candice, and Gang about a week or two ago. Heaven!
And then there's also the Razon's halo-halo and impromptu bowling at Farmer's with
Densio,
Edsel,
Hec, and Beej. Plus the Mogwai one-becomes-two-for-the-road at Mogwai on the same night! Haha!

Planning a couple more trips this year, one of which will coincide with my birthday. w00t! And I also hope to move out within the last quarter of the year, too. This year is very promising indeed. :D

Wishlist: I want a 10" netbook or a 12" laptop. My laptop's starting to feel cumbersome. But first things first. Gotta save up for the birthday trip in June. Hee hee.
Whew. Just realized what was supposed to be a bullet point entry has become long enough for a short story! On that note, I bid thee farewell for now, as the persistence of work never tires.
