I am so unprepared for my Hong Kong and Macau trip. And it's a 10-day vacay! Usually, I plan my itinerary months in advance, and it involves a good amount of internet research, spreadsheets, and budget breakdowns. It's only two days before I leave and I don't even have any kind of list. Not even a packing list! I need to do tons of stuff over the weekend and I'm wishing Chronos would grant me a bit more time. My OC-ness has taken a back seat to the more pressing concerns in life, which merits not just a complete blog post, but probably a whole book unto itself. Haha.
Just so I have a list, here are the things I need to do today:
1. Pay the bills
2. Exchange some $$
3. Go grocery-shopping
4. Go shopping for jeans, a bag maybe, toiletries, and some other stuff
5. Draft an itinerary
6. Make a budget breakdown
7. Finish my raket
8. Meet up with a friend
9. Make a packing list
10. Get a massage
11. Get a facial
12. Get a travel insurance (I like getting from
World Nomads)
13. Pay in advance for excess baggage
14. Visit Globe to activate roaming
15. Chat with bandmate Joon (I need directions to where you live! Haha! Oh, and if you have other bilins)
I realize now that some of these have to be postponed for tomorrow as it's simply impossible to do everything today. But if time is on my side, I just might be able to pull this off.
OMG, I'm so excited! This is a landmark trip. It represents so many things in my life right now. Most of all, it signifies freedom and independence. I'm going to leave the past behind and boldly forge ahead to a fabulous future. :D
