The gig last Wednesday was awesome! Granted we could've used more practice, but what the hell! It was fun just being on stage again and crankin' it up. And, man, the sets of the other bands took me on a rockin' ride down memory lane! I relived the early years of the 21st century. Cambio, Twisted Halo, Sugarfree, and Blast Ople! Blast Ople was the bomb, as always! :D I haven't had that much fun in ages, I swear! Aia and I were right in front of the stage and were singing along and dancing. Blast Ople is always a riot to watch. :D I've had a bit much to drink, too, so I had twice the fun. Hehe.
On a serious note, I realized something: Music will always be in my blood. No matter how long I take a sabbatical from playing or watching gigs, music will always be something that defines me. It's part of who I am, and I know that will never change no matter what else does in the world.

Friday night clubbing was glittery spectacular! Haven't danced in reckless abandon in a looong time! I don't even remember when the last time was. :p Thanks to
Valman for helping
Shey and me get ready for the night. Sister! Haha! ;P
I felt like was floating during the early part of the evening. We left the office a bit past 7pm because we had to finish stuff before the long weekend started. Then Shey and I rushed to Megamall for some last minute shopping and kakikayan. Then we braved the Friday traffic all the way to Project 7. (It helps to have company when you're driving through heavy traffic. Thanks for keeping me sane, guys!) We were running late so I was forced to employ what I learned from the kupal school of driving. Haha.
By 10:30pm, we had rendezvoused at Chunky's Makati. I had a couple of Margaritas and a screwdriver before we proceeded to Warehouse 135 at 12:30am. Then I had a shot of Jagermeister and two beers. I didn't get piss drunk, though. I guess with all the dancing we did there was no chance for the alcohol to settle. Okay, I take it back, unless you've had too much Jager (right, Shey?). Haha! We were quite a rowdy bunch but we didn't care. We danced all our cares away; we danced like there's no tomorrow! We left the place a bit past 3:30am. And because my adrenalin level was still high (plus, I like driving in the wee hours of the morning), I offered to chauffeur the remaining peeps home. Thus ensued the road trip to Las Pinas, Sucat, Makati, and Cubao. Got home at 6:30am, had breakfast, then rightfully crashed.
Chofan,
Shey, Duds, MarkE, MarkP, Carl, Niki, it was awesome hanging out with you guys! Special thanks to Shey for suggesting to go out clubbing. Yes, let's do it again next month! :)
