Hey hey gang, w hat's going on?
Not a lot here, just watching a little Sportscenter thinking about turning in pretty soon.
So this weekend was pretty awesome, but will likely be topped next weekend when Jones comes up and we trek to Eureka Springs to visit some ghosts and see the big statue of Jesus, my main G.
So Friday me, Chris, Gurrie and Rebekah Baugh (Bahhhhhhh) went to see The Departed at one of these theaters here in Conway.
It was a pretty good movie really, just kind of long, but I'd definitely watch it again.
Ben Affleck's friend was super and so was Leonardo Di Caprio, who I never really liked, but he impressed me in that film.
Last night we trilled and planned out next weekend's trip to the Springs de Eureka.
Gurrie won cookies from Chris after wagering them on a theater on the internet.
That's actually a long story, but a funny one.
Of course the main happening in my weekend was the Razorbacks dominance of the #2 ranked and previously unbeated Auburn Tigers at Auburn's house no less.
The Hogs debuted at #17 in the AP poll and I"m not sure where in the coaches, but probably a little lower than that.
They're now up practically two games in the rough and tumble SEC West.
LSU has two losses, Alabama has two losses (Including one to the Hogs) and Auburn has only one loss, but that's to us, which means we hold the tiebreaker, so one loss wouldn't put the Tiggers in a situation to win the west.
All in all, we're in great position with just 3 big games left (At South Carolina, Tennessee at home and LSU in Little Rock), win two and our first outright SEC Western division title is in our hands.
Now, we've won two other Western Division titles (1998 and 2002) but the one in '98 we had the same record as Miss. St., but they beat us, so they owned the tiebreaker.
In 2002 we had a huge second half of the season rally, including beating LSU on the day after Thanksgiving, to wrangle the title from them.
Again we had the same record as LSU and Auburn, but we beat both of them.
However, Alabama had the best record with a 6-2 mark, but were on probation, so they were ineligible for any title or bowl game.
But this is huge, before the season some may have speculated that Auburn was the toughest team on our schedule (That includes USC who drubbed us in Fayetteville, 50-14 in the opener) is that's true, a season for the ages and a nice bowl trip (BCS anyone?) may loom.
But enough of that.
Anyway, there's a nice update for my peeps, I'm chunkin' up the deuces.
