Gratuitous Kitty Picutres

Calypso, on what I will call a "Netflix bender"... she really likes the paper.

For shame, kitty, for shame!

That's contentment right there... :)

Didn't she get big?

Geez, you know, how does it get to be 10pm so quickly? Honestly... I always start the weekend off with grand expectations of things I will do since my weekdays are lame and sometimes I just don't get around to any of it. Today I did dishes, baked zucchini bread, watched Lost (old eps still, sorry James), played guitar, and talked on the phone AND THAT'S IT. Things I had planned to do: read a book that I left in my car and am too lazy to go get, clean out the car, clean bathroom, possibly do some laundry, go to open mic night at the cafe I like, and study GRE stuff. Oh well. Whatever. Apparently now I have tomorrow. I was supposed to do something with Sean but he won't be in town until later in the week, so looks like I can clean all day tomorrow if I like, yayayayayayayayay. Ugh. I just can't get motivated to do things... I'm in one of those moods where peer pressure is needed to get my ass in gear, and there's nobody here to pressure me. Ah well.

Speaking of peer pressure of a sort, I went to the movies last night with Candice and her friend but I was meeting them there so I parked and was walking through the lot up to the theater by myself and passed a bunch of punky high schoolers and after they passed me they were like "Loner! Hey, loner! You over there, you loner! Loner!" and I'm pretty sure they meant me! I didn't respond or really check to see who they were talking to, but I'm pretty sure they were actually making fun of me for (they thought) going to the movies alone on a Friday night. Isn't that crazy? Who really does that, honestly? It didn't bother me other than to make me feel like "Hey! I'm an adult! Show some respect, you punk-ass kids..." lol I must be getting old... It was just weird. Also weird was that when I left and walked back to my car there were guys parked next to me wearing black leather matrix-stle trenchcoats loitering around their vehicle and one of them said "Ok, we'll go to Wendy's and then we'll find a place to shoot..." And then they drove off. I do hope they were talking about shooting some film or a game of pool or even heroine. Regardless, not something you want to see/hear when in an otherwise deserted parking lot around midnight. Gooooooood times. I think I should prob stick with the other movie theater I normally go to. There strangers just offer to shelter me under their umbrella while we walk awkwardly and silently through the parking lot in the rain... haha On second thought, maybe I should just stick with Netflix. ;) See how it came back full circle? See how I did that? Brought it back around? Yeah. (That's a Jimmy Pardo-ism from Never Not Funny)
