Discrete test today, all proofs. It was actually a relief since i've been studying proof writing non stop since this semester started, the hard part is just remembering all the definitions precisely so i can build up the proof. Transitions test coming up tuesday, followed by a stats test friday. Transitions test should be quite similar to my discrete test, but graded much harsher. Got whistled down by jamie hulet today, hilariously great to see her again. Drank way to much coffee today. Yea way too much. Read "statistics for dummies" at the local barnes and noble since my professor does a horrible job of explaining anything during lecture and the text book is written very awkward. My matlab class has been quite easy, yet useful and interesting so far. Attended a lecture by Ben Carson. It was AMAZING. Talk to some guy whos daughter is a math grad at Michigan, pretty tight. I love meeting random people that can relate and offer advice and words of motivation.
So far, next semester is looking pretty daunting. Advanced calculus and combinatorics. These classes are going to be intense, but i'm sure im up for it. It's funny, how all the math classes a undergrad takes, yet it's only a slight introduction to all the branches of math out there. Most math majors only see the tip of the iceberg. Right now, math is pretty much my life (yea you know this too), which is great, but it's good to take a break and smell the flowers every once and a while. Looking forward to the summer. Looking forward to good laughs and memorable times.
Statistical fact of the day: Count how many times a cricket chirps in 15 seconds and add 40 to that. Then that's roughly the temperature at the moment in Fahrenheit. Given that it's not already freezing or scorhing hot.
