i hate cars
sometimes you find what you've been looking for all your life
and sometimes you keep your chin up when the rain pours
let it storm
life's been crazy
colorado was a blast and I truly loved every second of it
whether it was fucking horrible or a climax of accomplishment
or staying up 24 hours and sleeping on the side of a highway
or in the middle of some farmers field in utah
whether i froze my ass of in shitty hail conditions with no shell jacket
or the crazy projects that were almost impossible
but we stuck it out and worked through it
i fucking smiled every bit of it
the people you meet out there
their the people you think about all the time after you come back from the 2 months of isolation from cars and roads
how funny
some great times were had
some great friends were made
and life felt so alive
like it was a breathing creature
all around you, every second you were doing something memorable
where bring dirty was normal
and everyone were so reckless yet smart
even when they go face to face with a mountain goat
or i should say on all fours hahha
hiking 2 hours to work everyday
and eating your 2nd breakfeast as the sun rises over the beautifuliest valley
while the coyotes howl and yip
late night jam sessions
good vibes
rock climbing
hiking to a mountain pass with crazy thunderstorms all around
9 people sleeping under a tarp
that crazy bond, where everyone is just insane and they dont care if they die
as long as they die together
in one of the craziest thunderstorms i'll probably ever expereience
soaked to our bones but laughing our asses off
insane thunder bolts striking 50 yards away
and the ground shakes everytime they hit
so bright they blind you when you have your eyes shut
one of the best ways to wake up in the middle of the night
and waking up in the morning to a warm fire and hot water
and your oatmeal packet, nutrigrain bar, a 3 day old hard boiled egg
and some slimfast
aspennn and being booted
fucking epic to say the least
lone wolf hikes
feeling of independence from society
like your a fucking pioneer
the feeling of not being human but animal
hanging out on a cliff overlooking the forest with no trace of civilization
with stars that are so bright, it's like their trying to get your attention
chilling with sucifer talking about astronomy and geography
beauty of nature
beauty of people
beauty of life
things that no person can take away from you
god i love the people on that cfi and rmyc crew
its that feeling you get a month after
that feeling that you want to go back
and it just bugs the fuck out of you that you might not ever get to do something like that again
