OH MY GOD! You will NOT BELIEVE what just happened to me! =D
First of all, Joshua Seth is a voice actor. He did the voice of Tetsuo (Akira), Tai (Digimon), young Knives (Trigun), Shobu (Duel Masters), Cyborg 009, Hige (Wolf's Rain), and several other roles. I've been a fan of his voice acting since I was 11 or 12, and have been known to sit and watch a show just because his voice is in it. He's also a psychic, though he refuses to call himself that, and has been doing comedy hypnotist shows since like 1991. Anyway, today, I googled Joshua Seth's name, and found his website. Cool! I also found an 800 number to find out about his hypno-comedy shows. Even more cool! So I called the number, right? But I was way, WAY too nervous to leave a message. I called twice more just to hear the answering machine, and hung up out of shyness/stupidness. I resumed studying. About ten minutes passed.
My cellphone went off.
I could feel my face go completely white. I just stared at my phone with my mouth hanging open, letting it ring. I finally snapped to and grabbed it, answering it with shaking hands.
"Hello, this is Joshua Seth. I've been missing a few calls from you...?"
I almost DIED. Right there! JOSHUA SETH called me back!!! I was so floored that I was speechless for a second, then I stammered some gibberish and introduced myself and told him why I was calling. He explained what I wanted to know, and then, out of the blue, he mentioned something about digimon. Can't remember what it was. Stuff wasn't registering in my mind.
But holy hell! How on earth did he know to tell me about digimon!? I knew he was a psychic guy, but DAMN! Did I give something away? Well, the whole time I was on the phone with him, my mind was probably broadcasting "digimondigimondigimon", so it probably wasn't too hard for him. XD But DAMN!
Another thing. Joshua Seth does many comedy-hypno shows throughout the year, but when I asked he only told me about an upcoming show in San Francisco and one other location that I didn't catch because my cellphone was breaking up slightly. My dad is taking a business trip to San Francisco soon, and I might be able to go along! =O Is this a coincidence, or not? It's almost scary.
