(no subject)
It's been forever since I updated this thing... but for some reason I thought about it today and decided to. So... I'm at Slippery Rock for grad school. First semester went well. I made a lot of awesome friends and I think the next 2 1/2 years will fly by.
Josh got done with his training around Thanksgiving, so now he is back home!! I'm pretty happy about that.
Slippery Rock reminds me a lot of Lock Haven. It is pretty quiet. At least it is close to the outlets... only 8 miles away from Grove City! I love my apartment. It is a 2 bed 2 bath place that I share with one other girl. It's about 1/2 mile from campus and I feel safe here. I start my 2nd semester tomorrow. I'm actually looking forward to going back to class. I have been done since Dec 18th and I think I'm going stir crazy. I haven't gotten a job since moving out here because I wanted to focus on school. Its the first time since I've been 16 that i haven't had a job... it feels weird. I went home for like 1/2 of break and stayed with Josh the other 1/2.
I don't want to jinx it... but things are going pretty good right now. Other then my poor neon. She got inspected and needed new brakes and something with the rear strut. $550 for everything... :( But... i can't be too upset because I've had her forever and she's never had anything wrong. For a 2001 i think her brakes lasted pretty damn long.
Oh well. I'm going to get some stuff unpacked and do some laundry. (Its nice to finally have an apartment with a laundryroom in it!) No more hauling 5 baskets down the street or down to the creepy laundry room in the basement.
I feel like this entry is just a bunch of random thoughts.. but its just for my memory so who cares.
