... the answer is: Lots Of Places (tm)
and the most recent addition is Rhode Island. I went on an overnight trip to Providence for work to meet people from the department that was merged with mine, and to work on our new program to be used throughout the entire company footprint. It was a fun trip, and RI is beautiful in the fall.
There was a horrible accident on I-65 today that I missed by about 10-20 minutes, I'm assuming. I haven't seen news reports of it yet, but this was the first time I've watched a LifeLine helicopter land on a stretch of highway. Yikes!
I went to
bsuguy03 and
teddygraham83's "Baby BBQ" today in preparation for the new addition to their family, and had some good food and good times with friends.
... which brings me to the whole diet thing. I haven't been doing so well at it for a few reasons, which include (but are not limited to): difficulty to keep it up while travelling; difficulty maintaining the eating schedule (especially the "no eating after 7pm" bit); the possibility of trying to change too many habits at once; and the fact that I haven't been keeping track of anything or posting anything for positive feedback from anyone.
So, beginning again on Monday, my efforts are redoubled. I will start by simply introducing the water. I'll log every day how much water I drink, and I'll make a conscious effort to not let it drop below 4 litres. After 1 week, I'll re-introduce healthier foods, and track my caloric intake each day. One week after that, I'll readjust my eating schedule to the 4 meals /day at 8am, 10:30am, 2:30pm, and 5pm (maybe allowing a 30 minute give-or-take window for each). I'll need to track the times of when I eat. After I get my eating & drinking habits under control (let's say 3 consistent weeks of doing all of the above), then I'll figure out an exercise routine & schedule. I think that's going to be the hardest part... mostly for when I'm not travelling and don't have the hotel gyms to work out in.
As far as commitment issues go, you'd think I'd have a much easier time with this than with a relationship - that, at least, I'm not having commitment problems with!
