Remus had been minding his business and taking very thorough notes during History of Magic, one of his best classes, when suddenly, a scrap of paper came flying in his direction. When he opens it, its source is immediately obvious from the content as well as the direction from which it came. Bugger, Sirius, don't you ever pay attention during class? Remus shakes off the thought, already knowing the answer, and rips a small piece of parchment off of the corner of his notebook. Throwing an exasperated look in Sirius' direction, Remus scrawls a reply that seems suitably succinct before passing it, discretely, to Sirius.

Passed back to Remus while Professor Binns is looking at his textbook. Which is roughly, all the time.

Passed to Sirius when Remus, having surreptitiously checked all directions several times to assure that no one is watching, deems appropriate.

Dropped into Remus's lap with a wink.

After giving Sirius a curious look regarding that wink, stuck on Sirius' desk.

Thrown carelessly to Remus's desk.

After his eyes nearly popped out of his head at the audacity with which the note was thrown, tucked discretely into Sirius' pocket.

Stuck to the back of Remus's neck when his head was bent over his notes.

Demonstrating the utmost caution after the recent incident involving grasping at the back of his own neck when he felt something very suspicious latch onto it only moments prior, is gently tossed right under Sirius' desk.

With a peculiar look towards Remus, probably something that would say You Really Are A Woman Sometimes, is crumpled up and chucked right at Remus's face accompanying a tight lipped, obnoxious smirk.

With Remus looking somewhat cross about having something chucked at his face in the middle of class without a second thought as to their current surroundings, is folded and tucked neatly between two fingers and held out for Sirius to grab.

Folded square and inserted back between Remus's outstretched fingers.

Place surreptitiously on the corner of Sirius' chair.

Levitated onto Remus's head.

With Remus having decided that Sirius really shouldn't be leaning back in his chair like that because, if his center of gravity shifted too far backwards, he would fall and possibly crack his head open and generally cause James a great deal of misery and woe, tossed elegantly into Sirius' lap.

James, you see, wasn't as dense as some made him out to be. REALLY. No, really. He did in fact notice this NOTE PASSING business that was going on WITHOUT HIM and he was not pleased. Not pleased in the least, you see. So, with a very pointed look sent in the way of the ponces, there was also a very pointed note chucked at their heads.
