RP: About time there was a little Andromeda/Ted!

Summary: Andromeda is celebrating her big 16th birthday down by the lake when who should happen upon her but her long time crush, Ted Tonks.

“Happy Birthday to me...” Today wasn’t shaping up to be much different than any other day. Sure, Andromeda had woken up with a little more vigor than usual, taken a longer shower and gotten to open a few presents (More like twenty) but besides that, her schedule had run just like normal. Read all morning, eat lunch at the Hufflepuff table and smile whenever someone got to the punch line of a joke, and now it was time to sit at the lake and ponder flowers until dusk. “Happy birthday to me...”
But even though she was doing the same thing as the day before, it was different. Andromeda was different today. Her hair was not its normal wavy frizz. It was shiny, a good wavy. And her clothes? The night before she had thrown all her clothes away to make way for the new wardrobe her mother had promised her. A promise made last year that as long as she lost thirty pounds, she could have new clothes.
Well, Andromeda was not one to back down from a challenge!
“Happy Birthday, Andromeda!” So here she was, one year after her mother had made a promise that would prove to leave a small dent it her wallet, thirty pounds lighter and much more than pleased with herself. This birthday would mark a new chapter in her life! Hopefully, she would no longer be the weird third wheel sister. The ‘not as pretty as Narcissa and Bellatrix’ younger sister. Those days were done! Boys would look her way, she would wear size three jeans, she would engage in conversation with STRANGERS!
Well no... maybe not that last part.
But she would sing!
