(no subject)
so i'm fully back in internetland as of this afternoon. big adjustment
after 2 weeks during which 20 minutes of e-mail checking was the
highlight of the day. here's where i'm staying now:

and yes, that is my atlas on the bed, as well as large piles of the new york times. (thanks again, dr. trayes.)
this is where i will be concocting delicious goodies this summer. note that the first kitchen item my suitemate bought was a teapot. where's the fridge, you might ask? note the large grey square underneath the sink, to the right of the oven. an interesting use of space, to be sure. let it never be said that city-dwellers use space inefficiently.
anyway, the true draw of my new room is its situation on a corner of the building, granting me not one but
fantastic.
i feel like i commited two cardinal sins today: i went to both a kmart and a mcdonalds. ugh.
not really much else to report; plus i am exhausted. i plan to do a lot more exploring tomorrow.
