You know what I do when I get really, really down?
Well, I try and suck it up--take it like a man, y'know? It usually doesn't work. So I use escapism.
I think that's why I'm so obsessed with books and movies and anime. I can sink into an awesome anime and for whatever length of time, I don't have to think about anything except the characters.
I think that's why I go into these little obsessions. When I started into Gundam Wing, I loved it--fighting a war to protect the colonies. Yay! When Final Fantasy: Advent Children came out--my kick for FF7 was renewed. I had to go through and play some of the game again. I downloaded and watched the entire Full Metal Alchemist series and now I'm on a kick for that. I go through these little obsessions that, for a short time, consume my life. ^_^
Hahaha. It's kinda funny, isn't it? =D Ah well, it's my guilty pleasure. I've gotta have at least one. Anime happens to be mine.
