A new year dawns
The past decade has allowed me many grand adventures - more than I ever thought possible. Now that we are beginning a new year and a new decade, it's time to see what possibilities will present themselves. The euphoria of change is finally calming down, and now I feel at peace and centered again.
I am planning on some writing, drawing, and creating this year, and hope to bring smiles and happiness, because this world has gotten so down and sour thanks to the information overload in recent times. I'm going to slow down and try to savor as many experiences as I can. I will finally get back to work on my site and see if I can get it hosted somewhere that won't charge an arm and a leg.
I've finally been able to enjoy fashion again, and plan on expanding any way that I can. The doors have been opened.......it's just a matter of boldly stepping through them now. So far, that has not been a problem. This area is not as closed-minded as it used to be anymore, which is a very pleasant change from when I moved away from here. Now I just have to battle the other ladies for what I want to buy! Oh this is gonna be fun! It's funny how society has put it upon itself to dictate who should wear what, when it's really such a little thing to get all worked up about. I'm not advocating everyone give it a try, because I'm just doing what feels right to me, and we are all different in our ways, and there is nothing wrong with that.
One of these days, I really should go down to The Loft, even though my new schedule doesn't allow me to go before 11pm on Friday or Saturday, I'm sure I'll have fun no matter what night I go there - heck.......I may even be able to talk one of my friends into sharing the experience with me. It's been a while since the last time. I remember when the last club I frequented was a place five miles north of here! That place had one hell of a dance floor though'
I think it's going to be another good year! Who wants to come out and have some fun?
