Good News
I am very pleased to report that I have been offered a position with the Oregon State Hospital. This couldn't come any sooner, as I have been very stressed out about finding a job. I'll be working as a Research Analyst (level 2). Basically, I'll be applying the statistics and research planning skills that I've learned over the past couple of years.
This is the kind of work that I've been trained to do, and I'm really excited about the opportunity. There's still plenty to figure out before I start. First and foremost, I have to find a new apartment in Salem (about 40 minutes from Portland). And there will be movers hire, transportation to arrange, and a Luna to move. But I'm really, really happy. Employment means new purpose, new goals, and (best of all) new PAYCHECKS! I just accepted the job this afternoon, and I'm still on cloud nine.
So happy, I could burst.
