Excuse me!

Miss nice-person-I-talked-to-the-other-day! [...Moa]I couldn't help but overhear that there's no one keeping real track of inventory and that you wanted help? To tell the truth, that's been bothering me a little, too, so I volunteer myself! And maybe I could get some other people to volunteer, too! For example I know one guy who is ( Read more... )

Arisugawa Sorata - any nickname you can come up with that's cute, that's also fine.

I'm from Kouya, Wakayama prefecture, Japan, although I've recently moved to Tokyo.

Hm... do you want to know about my income, too? Since I'm underage, I'm warning you, it isn't much.

I'm not a nicknames kinda guy. I'll stick with Sorata, thanks. I'm Shinji.

Is that so? Been to Tokyo a few times.. not so bad.

Your uh, income? There's no way to have that here, so what are you talking about?

It was a joke. You took it pretty seriously, huh?

Yeah, Tokyo's pretty nice. I've only lived there a couple of months, so I still get lost trying to find places, but it seems like a nice city.

I guess I did. Well, it's not a big deal--

--seems like it. I'm from Iwatodai and that's not a big city. It's easy to get lost in Tokyo. (I did, anyway.)

The town I'm from, Kouya - as in Mt Kouya, y'know - it only has a population of four to five thousand. Of course, I've been to Osaka a bunch of times, but it's different to visit a big city than it is to live in one. But it's fun. I want to go sightseeing one of these days before

We've got a damned low population. Around there, I'd say, but hell if I keep track of statistics.

Went with a couple..friends one time. On business. I guess you could call it that.

Makes me wonder if there's other ruined cities around here.

You know, like this one?

Or do you think this place is pristine and shit? Better get your eyes checked.

Rude~

What I meant was, it's a little weird that you cut from "Tokyo" to "other ruined cities like this one" without any pause or explaining.

Rude? Me?

I was thinkin' about the sightseeing part. But uh, wait, what does Tokyo have to do with ruined cities then?

Right, right, that's a good answer.

Godzilla and all those other monsters.

And outside of movies, there's no correlation between Tokyo and ruined cities at all.

Oh. Hey Nani. So, you like those old movies?

Er. Yeah. I mean, Tokyo looked fine when I saw it last. Kinda trashy at times, but not a big deal. Iwatodai was like that too.

Course it was almost a ruined city, but meh.

Yeah... There's no reason to think...

By the way - sorry for cutting in, Miss Nani - but by the way, mister, where exactly is Iwatodai? The city doesn't sound familiar to me but then again, I'm not too good with geography. You said it was a ruined city...?
