[ voice; Japanese ] [ Locked away from Anemone ]

[THUNK. Those of you who like punching walls might find that sound familiar.]

...Ouch.

[...]

So I got a question, since they're real popular lately, except mine's kinda more practical. When you're in a bad mood, what's your preferred way of gettin' out of it?

Also, anyone here have kids?

manaka tomoo, maes hughes, soma hatsuharu, fuuma, abel nightroad, didn't think this through, jonathan carnahan, tao ren, aragaki shinjiro, yuriy ivanov, lockon stratos, voice, nakatsukasa tsubaki, network philosophizing time?, death scythe, anemone

I usually do what it sounds like you just did. Sometimes I just go walking for however long it takes to calm down again.

Don't have any kids of my own, but there were lots of 'em to look after in Tokyo.

If you mean punching a wall, I actually kicked it, and all it did was make my foot hurt.

See, 'cause I think I need parenting advice, and it's weird to even say that aloud.

Parenting?

Not sure how much help I'll be, but I can try.

There's this girl here, and bein' a friend to her doesn't work, and bein' a "brother" to her doesn't work, and there's a joke that I'm like her parent anyway...

In short, she keeps gettin' hurt and then gettin' upset when we get upset with her for keeping up the recklessness. It's not like I'm really askin' seriously, but I guess it got me thinkin' about real families. I'm an orphan, so...

That sounds like normal family stuff. Not lots of families would end up in this sort of situation, but--

Well, normal or not, I guess I don't really have a whole lot of useful advice. Been in that sort of situation a few different times and it always got handled differently.

Yeah, I'm not really askin' seriously... more like I'm asking 'cause to me, it's an interesting subject anyway.

Some people here form themselves these big surrogate families. I've managed to avoid most of that. [Laugh] Even back home.
