[Pause, and a muffled cough.] I saw some guy fightin' one of those monsters. He wasn't doing too well, so I put up a... barrier. Thought I could contain him, an' it worked great for hours. Then I got careless... I didn't wanna fight it, and so it fought me, instead. Had to let the barrier down. It escaped.
