[Sorata sounds tired, but also pretty amused.]

I understand now.

There's a reason people under twenty shouldn't drink....

...It turns out to be dangerous.

How enlightening.

Yup. As it turns out. But only if you're underage.

Eh?

Oh, no, it's okay to drink normal things. Just not alcohol things.

Alcohol is a scary and bad-tasting drink favored by hobos. It makes you sick if you're under 20. It's made from yeast and a number of other products, like potato or rice or wheat.

Normal drinks and normal yeast and potato are fine, though.

Look like...?

Like, food? Potatoes are round and brown in color, with white, moist insides. Yeast is usually found as a liquid. Rice is white grains. Alcohol is a variety of colors.

You must've eaten before...

You know because of the smell or taste, hmm, or because it's served in a bar, or because you have to be twenty or older to drink it. So there are a few clues.

Maybe about a three, unless you drink a lot, but the side effects kick in immediately, in my experience.

First, I fell asleep for nearly a full day. Then, upon waking up, I was sick to my stomach and had a sharp headache. Apparently, there can also sometimes be serious illness and memory loss. It's pretty intimidating.
