So I am reading this again, after you had reposted some interesting reminders about how clever you are.

But it reminds me to ask--

Why goo?

I mena, there was no explosion when the diary was stabbed. I know we don't know much about what went down with Dumbledore, but there was not any hint of it being damp at all.

So, I was just curious.

I love this story. But that bit seems a light hearted response to an otherwise serious moment.

Plugs and sockets! Darkness being the absence of light! Or light being the absence of darkness, I forget which. Were they allusions to Alphie's and Circe's great works?
