RED LANTERN RAGE POST
1. So I'm sure the comics-reading part of my flist knows by now that Barbara is going to return to her role as Batgirl.
I can't. I. Just. WHAT NO HELL FUCK WHY NO.
(I'm a bit more eloquent in my reasoning here, but really that's my innermost response.)
And then there's Cass and Steph. We still have no word on them.
2. I wrote And I Do months ago, but it feels particularly relevant right now. It says much of what I want to about the difference between Oracle and Batgirl and why one should not become the other, why it's a regression.
3. I'd already decided to write a letter telling DC exactly why I'm not buying their comics anymore when georgethecat suggested
a letter writing campaign. If anyone's at all interested, I suggest giving it a try. It certainly can't hurt.
4. I uploaded Masked Maidens again. It's a song about all the Batgirls, because they're all awesome and they all matter, dammit.
