ROLE 4: Yoiko no Mikata (2003) as Suzuki Taiyou
WHY I LOVE THIS ROLE: oggslfajlczmsghi this is one of the first dramas I watched with Sho as the lead actor, and he does beautifully. I loved the way he constantly grinned his big, triangle-shaped grin while saying a delighted "YES!". It's really nice to see Taiyou-sensei grow up from being a naive, innocent, bumbling ball of energy; he maintains his personality by the end, but is more responsible, more capable. I wish Sho would revisit this role again, or at least something similar, because I think he's grown up a lot as an actor; he's better with kids, now, and he can carry off tough emotional scenes amazingly well. But if you want to see Sho with children, Sho crying almost all the time, and grinning like a maniac the rest -- this is the show for you (har har har).
I know you all love Sho + babies just as much as I do ;D
