Ohohoho! Mr. Tsuruga was right about the Love Me section! The president really believes in me. Score! I mean, sure, the job is a little different than what I expected- the name is embarrassing the point system is embarrassing the UNIFORM is embarrassing- but every great star has to start somewhere, right? Besides, after all the, ahahaha, work I did ( Read more... )

You thought I was wrong about the Love Me Section?
[Though, this is the least of his annoyances. :3]

No, not exactly. It's more that I wasn't sure I could completely believe it until I remembered it for myself. It sounds so strange. I've never heard of anything like it before.

It's certainly one-of-a-kind. Don't expect to find another Love Me Section anywhere else in the universe.

Unless you plan on continuing your section duties in Memento Eden, in which case...

That reminds me... Even if we aren't currently in Japan, you're still a member of the Love Me Section. What do you plan to do about that, Ms. Mogami?

Whaaaaat?!! You think I should keep doing it here?! But the president won't even know how great a job I'm doing!

I think that's an excellent idea, Ms. Mogami. I couldn't have worded it any better myself.

It's true that the president isn't here, but we could always keep a record of your progress and turn it in to him once we return to Japan.

Though it's a shame I didn't bring any stamps with me...

I'll stamp you. Right on your forehead. Minus ten points for using that fake gentlemanly smile!

I'm really not sure it's a good idea. What about getting to know the industry? And networking? I can't do that here. You just want to torment me, don't you?

Really, I'd just be some weirdo doing whatever I can to make people happy. Which is nice and all but it's not really what I was thinking of when I-

[Pauses, because isn't that exactly why the president created the Love Me section? Not for the connections but because she needed to get back that desire to love and be loved. Kyoko was so happy she managed to get her foot in the door that she forgot what she was suppose to be trying to accomplish.]

Rats...

You're correct. It's impossible to do those things here, but then, I'm not sure the Love Me Section truly qualifies as being a part of the industry to begin with. Of course, the section is in fact within LME, but you can't really expect to become famous doing jobs like that.

Nor do I think you will manage to become a worthwhile actress when the only things you're relying on are your guts.
