well, i'm back, back from what? i don't really know
anywho
just wanted to say...yeah
um
well, i've had a pretty decent week so far--other than this God-awful cold that makes it feel the my vocal chords are twin cliffs of sandstone gyrating against each other causing me to sound like the Jigsaw killer and a small 'tiff w/ Cake's papa--but let's not that spoil things
last night i got to eat some Noble Roman's and listen to Nick Hornby read--he was really funny--I REALLY liked "Nipple Jesus" and Loved the accent--still Hate High Fidelity the movie though...sorry
and tonight i got to hear three very talented writers read, one about what it was like to be raised Jehovah's Witness, one's Asian-American poetry, and on really wired Upper who needs to be put under glass, kept away from sharp objects and inhalants, and studied!
and come this weekend (after working the Theatre Festival at Muncie Civic ) Cake and I will cram ourselves and pb&j "sammiches" into my lil Saturn and spend about $200 bucks on gas (probably cheeper than a damn plane ticket) to drive down to Houston TX to listen to Louise Gluk (ex-Poet Lauet) speak--just for the Fun of It
funny...one "in print" festival for another "n print" festival! tee-hee
