I was just watching question time - yes, i do that - and watched the government's favourite bigot, Phillip Ruddock, sprout some of the most homophobic language I've heard in Australian politics ever. The Labor party responding to such filth by hurling abuse at the Minister over the floor of parliament.
If the Labor party is so outraged, and rightly so, by the homophobic rhetoric coming from this government, why will the Labor party not act just as outraged over homophobic legislation when introduced by the government. The legislation was targetted at gays, no matter what the Prime Minister says, and the Labor party is just as guilty as the government which initiated it.
