Okay.
I can't be in the pit next year, Mr. Lymon twisted aournd his own words, what he said originally was that if I was good this year, he'd let me be in the pit next year, and maybe even the indoor percussion ensemble, then he said that he meant I could be in indoor and just have to march clarinet next year.
News flash: I HATE the clarinet. I've hated it since the day they gave that little piece of paper that said 'You will play the clarinet'. And they know this.
So now I have 2 options. I could A) try out fo guard next year (I'm leaning towards this one) or B) Just give up and march the clarinet.
Pros of A - I'd probably be good at guard since Mimi could teach me things and mom could get Corri to give me lessons.
Cons of A - They do drill the guard reall hard, I'm not a good dancer, I'm have a feeling I'd forget some steps and/or drop something
Pros of B - I get a shako, I'd get marching skills for when Saul or whoever starts teaching me drums, I'd get to wear the (then slightly) new uniforms, the clarinet section at the high school's pretty cool...I like that Marjie chick. She's cool.
Cons of B - I HATE THE CLARINET, I have a feeling I'd mess marching up too, I'm not good at memorizing music, there's never any love for the clarinets. EVER.
Someone please help me make my decision. Or at least give me advice.
