Hey!!
I just finished reading the past couple month's journals...it's so odd how so much still happens in the real world even though your entire world consists of floating around in the middle of the ocean. So yea, not much has changed really. I got to see Alaska...I'm glad I saw it. I wouldn't mind living in Kodiak or Juneau or Anchorage for a few years, it'd be like extreme living. It's a whole different world up there, it was pretty interesting to see.
Hmm, so I'm on duty today. Christmas Eve duty...the best part being I get to wake up Christmas morning at work. Woo. I actually don't mind so much, better that someone with family here can be home. Plus it doesn't feel like Christmas at all. I just rejoined the real world 4 days ago, how is it already Christmas Eve?!? It's a scam I tell ya!
Oh, and I've also decided for sure that I'm going to apply for flight school. I always wanted to be a pilot at the academy, but I had no fuel feeding the fire there. Being out here and working on the flight deck with the aviation crew and talking with the pilots....yea, that's what I'm going to shoot for. Such a long process though, and I have no clue where to begin, but I figure better to apply and get rejected than not apply at all.
Home January 5-15!! I can't wait to see you guys!! California is all confused, it's warmer now than it is in the summer, greener, and yet some of the trees look like fall colors. Maybe that's another reason why it doesn't feel like Christmas. I'm gonna go find a Christmas movie to watch.
